Full Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Adelaide, Australia
Derek Abbott (Fellow, IEEE) has served as an Editor and/or Guest Editor for a number of journals, including the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, the Journal of Optics B, Royal Society Open Science, Chaos, the Proceedings of the IEEE, and the IEEE Photonics Journal. His research programs span a number of areas of stochastics, game theory, photonics, energy policy, biomedical engineering, and computational neuroscience.

Alex Liu Yupeng
Client Services Manager, Asia, IEEE
Alex Liu is the manager for Client Services, Asia at IEEE, who works closely with customers in APAC to provide customized learning opportunities about publishing with the IEEE and in-depth training sessions to help users master best practices in searching the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Alex graduated with a Master’s degree in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University.

Richard Chandra is the International Area Manager for seven markets in Asia Pacific (APAC): Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Pakistan. Prior to joining IEEE in 2018, he had held various sales and marketing positions at Wiley, HMH, and McGraw-Hill.
