How To Play
Complete your quest in a few simple steps.
1. Access
Access IOPscience through SUTD’s library portal.
2. Explore
Select 5 different eligible IOPscience articles.
3. Check
Make sure the articles are non-Open Access and from 5 different IOPscience journals.
4. Download
Access and download the selected articles.
5. Capture
Take screenshots showing successful access/download.
6. Submit
Submit the journal name and article link for each article, together with the required screenshot(s).
Before You Submit
Make sure your entry includes:
✓ 5 different non-Open Access articles
✓ Articles from 5 different IOPscience journals
✓ All articles accessed through the SUTD Library portal
✓ Journal name + individual article link for each article
✓ 5 downloaded PDF files
✓ 1 screenshot showing all 5 PDF files in your download folder
Ready to Submit?
You’ll need:
5 Journal Names + 5 Article Links + 1 Screenshot of Your 5 Downloaded PDFs
Before submitting, please review the Guide to Download Articles and Quest Notes.
1. Access IOPscience through SUTD Library
Go to the SUTD Library portal, search for IOPscience, then click the link to access IOPscience.
2. Log In & Access IOPscience
Look for an IOPscience journal that interests you and take note of the journal title. Select an eligible non-Open Access article and click View Article to open the article page.
3. Open the PDF
On the article page, copy and save the article link for your submission, then click the PDF button to open the full-text article.
4. Download the PDF
Once the PDF opens, click the Download button and save the PDF file to your device.
5. Repeat & Capture Your Downloads
Repeat Steps 2–3 until you have downloaded 5 different articles from 5 different IOPscience journals. Then open your download folder and take one screenshot showing all 5 PDF files.
A few important things to know before you begin.
Please take note of the following to make sure your entries are eligible and you don’t miss out on your reward.
- Participants must provide a valid institutional email address when submitting their entry. Winners will be contacted via email.
- Winners must respond by the deadline stated in the prize notification email. Failure to respond by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the prize.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Each participant may submit multiple entries during the 4-week challenge, provided that each entry meets all eligibility requirements and contains a new set of 5 articles.
- The organiser reserves the right to amend the campaign mechanics, prizes, dates or terms where necessary. Any updates will be published on this webpage.
- The lucky draw will take place after the challenge ends. 5 winners will each receive a $20 Grab voucher.
