Unbound Medicine Launches Upgrade to Study System using Artificial Intelligence
Introduction
Flashcards were known to support students in retaining and recalling information; with Grasp, flashcards are being updated to assist current learners. The modern-day student values independence, efficiency and social learning opportunities. Grasp was designed to help students create and study flashcards anytime, anywhere while reviewing them with other students. Educators can also leverage on Grasp as a teaching tool to prepare students for future material and assess knowledge development.
The incorporation of Unbound Intelligence (UBI) makes Grasp even more sophisticated. UBI allows users to auto-generate cards with relevant recommendations for cards that are relevant to their study needs. With the help of UBI, users can broaden their expertise beyond the basics, by providing extensive study materials which users may have missed out.
Dr. Liz Robison, Simulation Center Coordinator & Professor of Nursing at Northwest Florida State College, shared her excitement on the improvements that Unbound has added to Grasp. Dr. Liz also mentioned that the new auto-generate feature simplifies developing flashcards with the latest and most credible information to assist her in equipping her students in their future careers.
Bill Detmer, MD, CEO of Unbound Medicine stated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionising how we search and obtain answers to the most significant clinical questions, ultimately improving patient care. With UBI integrated into Grasp, they are able to equip the future generation of healthcare professionals to tackle the ever-changing obstacles in healthcare.
UBI has been implemented into various parts of the Unbound platform. Literature searching, NCLEX, and CME testing, and in-content topic suggestions have benefitted with the help of UBI’s technology. UBI is helping users to spend more time on learning rather than searching for answers. The application of UBI to the Grasp study system represents a deeper incorporation of AI to the Unbound Platform.
