A Gross Anatomy Lab Anywhere
Now you can turn any view into a virtual cadaver lab with the new model orientation feature in Visible Body Suite!
Just click on the supine or prone options in the info box from any gross anatomy view, and boom—instant lab mode. Easily switch between anatomical positions and remove the table with one click.
It’s never been simpler to simulate dissections. Want to learn more about bringing virtual labs into your classroom? Check out this blog!

Anatomical Terminology & Anatomical Variants
3D models are at the core of what we do—but VB Suite also offers rich 2D content, including histology slides and illustrations. And we’ve just added new ones!
Anatomical terminology. Fresh illustrations are now available to help students grasp anatomical planes, positions, directional terms, and movement terminology. These visuals build a strong foundation for accurate anatomical description. Head to the blog to see how Visible Body can support terminology instruction.
Anatomical variants. A brand-new set of twelve illustrations highlights anatomical variations—from Circle of Willis differences to accessory ossicles and sesamoids in the feet. These variants are common but often overlooked in traditional texts. Now students can actually see and understand them.
Behind the scenes, we’re putting the finishing touches on two new premade Courseware assignments focused on these topics! One will help students master essential anatomical vocabulary, and the other will introduce common anatomical variants they’ll encounter in practice.

VB Suite Updates
We’re committed to constant improvement—and that means listening to you. Your feedback shapes our updates and drives us to make Visible Body better every day.
This past month alone, we rolled out over 25 updates focused on bug fixes and clarifications. For example, vessel and nerve labels now clearly indicate whether a structure is an artery, vein, or nerve—especially helpful when names overlap.
We’ve also enhanced the skin textures on our pig and frog models to create more realistic, immersive lab experiences.

Onward and Upward
We’re already deep into work on the next round of updates and features—all aimed at strengthening our products and improving your experience. Be sure to sign up for their mailing list so you never miss what’s new at Visible Body!
