Southeast Asia has made remarkable progress over the past decade in raising average income levels and reducing poverty. Yet economic disparities remain within and between countries. Better policies to enhance physical connectivity can benefit all of Southeast Asia. ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim (photo) highlighted ITF’s work on transport connectivity at a recent OECD Forum on the subject.
